Our Program

The KONGA kickboxing program is unique and based on the Dutch style of kickboxing. It’s a distinct fighting style and evolved over the last half-century. With its origins in the martial art form of Muay Thai, the dutch kickboxing style came to be in Holland, back in 1975. As the name suggests, kickboxing is generally a martial art form that combines both boxing and kicking techniques in order to dominate your opponent. 

Be prepared to master a kickboxing style that works on the following 

  • More boxing combinations 
  • A wider stance 
  • Low kicks 
  • Knee strikes.
  • No elbows

Our Commitment

We take it seriously when we say KONGA is a family friendly place. All our class sizes are small and intimate. Usually 7 to 10 people per session. This gives us the opportunity to work directly with each one of you, and it lets you have more on-to-one opportunities with the instructor in a class setting.

Kevin Persaud is our Muay Thai and Kickboxing coach who has obtained his certification from the Sporting Authority of Thailand. Kevin actively partakes in amateur fights providing the class with a similar training experience and insight while training for a fight. Kevin leads our beginner and advanced Muay Thai/boxing classes.
